Classic Caesar Salad

Ingredients

  • For the Salad:
    • 1 large head of romaine lettuce, washed and chopped
    • 1 cup croutons (store-bought or homemade)
    • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    • Freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)
  • For the Caesar Dressing:
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

    • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Make the Dressing:
    • In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Prepare the Salad:
    • In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce and croutons.
  3. Dress the Salad:
    • Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat the lettuce and croutons evenly.
  4. Serve:
    • Top with additional grated Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked black pepper. Serve immediately.

Tips
