Korean BBQ Short Ribs (Galbi)

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds beef short ribs, cut into thin strips
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions:

  1. Make the Marinade: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  2. Marinate the Ribs: Place the short ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
  3. Grill the Ribs: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade and grill for 4-5 minutes per side, or until nicely charred and cooked through.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with sliced green onions before serving. Enjoy with steamed rice and vegetables.
