Ingredients
- 450g (1 lb) of thinly sliced beef sirloin or flank steak
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1-inch piece minced ginger
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, combine the beef slices, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix thoroughly and let the beef marinate for 15 minutes.
Prepare the Stir-Fry
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the wok.

- Return the beef to the wok and add the sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together well and cook for an additional 2 minutes, until evenly coated and heated through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
