- 1 pound carne asada (or beef skirt steak)

Instructions:
- Prepare the Meat: Season the carne asada with salt and pepper. Heat a grill or skillet over high heat. Grill the meat for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness (medium rare is popular). Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.

- Assemble the Tacos: Place a few pieces of carne asada on each tortilla. Top with diced onions and chopped cilantro. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top.
- Serve: Serve the tacos with salsa on the side and additional lime wedges for extra flavor.
